Lucha Libre flies into Museum of Latin American Art tonight

Explore the highflying world of Lucha Libre at the Museum of Latin American Art today in the sculpture garden with 5 powerful matches including international superstars Taya Valkyrie and Thunder Rosa!

The evening will also include craft and food vendors, art workshops, complimentary face painting, pop up art show by David Espinoza, and a cash bar.

Here’s a schedule of events:

5:30pm Wrestling School by Max Minor, a documentary about the Santino Bros. Wrestling Academy in Bell Gardens (Screening Room)

6-7 pm Meet and Greet with the Lucha Stars (Lecture Room)

6:10 pm Luchadores Directed by Jose Emmanuel Varela, original short film about a Luchadors everyday life outside of the ring (Screening Room)

6:30 pm Performance by Cutty Flam, a Rock n ‘Roll Prom Punk band (Side Lot)

7:30 pm First Match Begins (Sculpture Garden)

Ticket prices: $25/ Members: $20

All ages are welcomed. Limited seating is available on a first come, first served basis.
