Long Beach Bayou Festival promises a great weekend of fun June 24-25

In its 31st year, the Long Beach Bayou Festival offers a weekend filled with cultural music, cuisine, and dance from a place called ‘home’– New Orleans and the Louisiana Bayou Country. It takes place June 24-25 at the Rainbow Lagoon in downtown Long Beach.

They are excited to share the best parts of Louisiana Bayou and New Orleans Culture with Long Beach. Come sample the specialties of Cajun and Creole cuisine and savor the many delicacies and flavors of the Big Easy.

Rich in cultural music traditions, the Long Beach Bayou and Blues Festival presents a wide range of groups, featuring Cajun, Zydeco and Blues artists. The dance floor is always open. Experience the New Orleans Traditional Jazz Band and come Second Line with the best of them at the Long Beach Bayou Festival.

Crawfish Contests will be held throughout the day. Sign up and win prizes!

This year’s King and Queen will lead the parade with the New Orleans Traditional Jazz Band. This year’s parade will be expanded more than ever!

Be sure to bring a mask or costume. The adult with the most original costume will win TWO Bayou Festival T-Shirts and a special prize to be announced at the event!

The last day to purchase tickets online or in the office will be today, June 22, at 6 pm. After this date, tickets will be available for purchase at the festival gate starting Saturday, June 24, at 10 am. All ticket prices after June 22 will be $31.00 per person, per day.

WILL CALL tickets not picked up from our office prior to June 22nd, will be available on the day of the event at the MAIN FESTIVAL GATE Ticket Booth (located on Shoreline & Linden Ave.).

Take 710 Freeway to Shoreline Drive and follow to the end. Parking available on grassy area directly across the street from the festival venue.

Convention Center Parking Structure – on Seaside Way
Take 710 Fwy south to end. Follow Shoreline Drive / Convention / Aquarium signs to Pine Ave. Turn left onto Pine Ave. Turn right onto Seaside Way. Parking structure is on the left.
