The Planes of Fame Air Show takes to the skies this weekend, May 6-7, at the Chino Airport. It’s 60th anniversary celebrates the history, contributions, and sacrifices of our veterans and aviation pioneers.

Gates open at 8 am for up close viewing of the aircraft that will be flying during the airshow. Don’t miss the panel discussions with over 10 WWII veterans and many more honored veterans in attendance starting at 9:30 am.

The six aircraft ‘Opening Ceremony Flight’ will include four airplanes that are the only flying examples of their type in the world!

The Air Show will feature more than 50 historic aircraft flying for your enjoyment. Performers include: U.S.A.F. F-35 Lightning II Heritage Flight Team, N9MB Flying Wing Demonstration, Sea Fury Aerobatics by Sanders Aeronautics, Jelly Belly Airplane and Greg Colyer T-33 Aerobatics, as well as Rob Harrison and the Tumbling Bear.

More than 40 WWII aircraft include the F4U Corsair, B-25 Mitchell , P-40 Warhawk, and P-51 Mustangs. Visit the Military Vehicle Display Area that will include a Sherman Tank and re-enactors so real that you will think you have actually been transported back in time!

The Planes of Fame Air Show is voted one of the ‘10 Best Air Shows in the World’ and has brought aviation history to life for tens of thousands of people at Chino Airport for the last 20 years.
