Visit John McLaughlin Paintings: Total Abstraction before it closes on Sunday, April 16! One of the most important artists of the postwar period, John McLaughlin (1898–1976) created a focused body of geometric paintings that are entirely devoid of any connection to everyday experience, inspired by the Japanese notion of the void.
The exhibition features 52 paintings and a selection of collages and drawings that establish McLaughlin as one of the foremost innovators of total abstraction.

It’s only $2 for seniors 65 years of age and older. Shot in 1932, the 82-minutes film was directed by Josef von Sternberg; written by Jules Furtheman based on the story by Harry Hervey.
